Request API Access

This guide walks you through how to request access for CSB XaaS API.


Keep in mind that exploring APIs does not require API access, but if you plan on integrating with the API, you must go through the following steps.


NOTE: This guide assumes you are already registered with Cisco. If you are not registered with Cisco, please do so [here(https://idreg.cloudapps.cisco.com/idreg/register.do) before proceeding.


Instructions

Step 1: Registering Permission

Step 1: Please click on "Request API Access" on the top navigation bar when you are ready to integrate with the XaaS API.

Step 2: Please click on New Application (or select an existing application if available).

Step 3 : Add your application. Please refer to OAuth 2.0 Documentation to determine which Grant Type is most suitable.

Step 4: After filling out the necessary details, click Add to add your new application.

Step 5: Determine which SLA Tier you belong to. SLA Tier determines the number of API Invocations allowed a day.

Step 6: Accept the terms and conditions and click Request API Access when you are ready to integrate with the API.


Approval may take some time. Please expect 3 to 5 Cisco US business working days before API access is granted.


NOTE: If you want this request expedited quickly, please work with your Cisco contact to let them know the application name, the API name you have requested access for, and the API platform as Mulesoft.
